Empty streets, closed shutters, silence, and a pigeon cooing, wondering where all those people who daily passed through the streets of our neighborhood have gone.
It feels like the middle of August. These are the times that will be written in history books, a pandemic whose only solution is to avoid human contact...
What a paradox! What gives us the most life, people, is now what we have to stay furthest away from.
We must be strong and rise again. In our neighborhood, most establishments are managed by SMEs and self-employed individuals, people who have had to close businesses in which they have invested their savings and on which their lives and those of their families depend. It is not easy to accept the situation and voluntarily close down. We are undoubtedly proud of all those family businesses in our neighborhood that have wisely decided to close for the common good. We hope that no one has to say goodbye and that in a while we can talk about this situation, which we will overcome together, at the doors of each of their businesses.
We, like the rest of the neighbors, remain closed until further notice. It is the most coherent and sensible thing to do if we want to stop the spread of this blessed virus.

As a healthcare center, we will offer minimal emergency services by appointment so that any member of the #LUPERfamily who needs us can count on our help.
Below, we provide a series of answers to the most common questions:
- How can I contact LUPER?
For your peace of mind, at our optical store in Murcia, we have set up a phone number for any emergencies that may arise. You can contact us via WhatsApp or by calling this number: 637 221 620.
Additionally, we are available on our Facebook and Instagram profiles.
- Can I pick up my pending order?
On Wednesdays during normal hours (10:00h – 13:30h and 17:00h - 20:30h), you can pick up pending orders for progressive glasses, single vision glasses and attend to appointments of extreme necessity.
To do this, you must book your appointment within the indicated hours to avoid crowds, as the maximum allowed capacity is four people, maintaining a safe distance of one and a half meters.
Remember, if it's not essential, please do not leave your home.
- I need contact lenses or eye health products.
- My glasses are broken.
If you don't have others and can't live without them, make an appointment, and we will attend to you urgently. If, on the other hand, you can manage the accident for a couple of weeks, please remember not to leave your home.
Together, we will get through this, and our neighborhood will shine again.
We just need a little patience, take a deep breath, and come back stronger than ever.
A big hug, LUPER family!
