El teléfono que se ha hecho viral en Murcia

The phone that has gone viral in Murcia

Can you imagine finding a phone in the center of Murcia that encourages you to leave a message? The viral campaign 'Descuelga, tienes una llamada' (Pick up, you have a call) by Ópticas y Audiología LUPER has made it a reality.

The Murcian brand placed a red phone in front of the Murcia Cathedral, arousing much curiosity among passersby and social media users. "We wanted to create intrigue without communicating that it was a marketing campaign. The goal was for people to draw their own conclusions, and it really worked," says Adolfo Ortiz, CEO and Co-Founder of Ópticas y Audiología LUPER.

The campaign, designed by LUPER's own communication department, has been a success.

The phone, placed on a stand that read "Descuelga, tienes una llamada" (Pick up, you have a call), captivated everyone's attention in Plaza Cardenal Belluga. Upon picking up, a voice encouraged the people of Murcia to leave that important message they hadn't said all year.

"We constantly work on ideas that can bring our brand closer to the people of Murcia, always seeking creativity and differentiation. This Christmas, we couldn't think of a better way to do it than through their own wishes," explains Melanie de la Torre, Communications Director at Ópticas y Audiología LUPER.

"Spaniards spend an average of over 5 hours a day on their mobile phones, but we call less and less. This is not just a Christmas campaign; we want to raise awareness about the importance of human connections in an increasingly digitalized world," emphasizes Adolfo Ortiz.

The response to this Christmas initiative has yielded incredible stories. All of them are featured in a spot that will be broadcast on television and social media.
