At LUPER, we know that changing glasses can be a difficult decision, especially when what you need are progressive lenses, which is why we want to answer your questions.
What advantages do progressive lenses offer me?
We highlight 3 main advantages:
1. All distances in a single pair of glasses. This way you can see clearly at any distance using a single pair of glasses without constantly changing them.
2. Economic savings. Yes, the price of progressive lenses is higher than that of single-vision lenses, but… is buying a pair of glasses for each distance cost-effective?
3. Progressive lenses for all prescriptions. "What about high prescriptions?" There are no limitations in progressive lenses for people with high prescriptions.

What range of progressive lenses do you work with?
As manufacturers, we have no intermediaries, which allows us to offer fair prices for quality progressive lenses. So much so that you can buy progressive glasses starting from €149.
What type of progressive lenses can I find at LUPER?
We only work with digitally manufactured progressive lenses.
Digital progressive lenses are manufactured with software that makes the lens shaping much more precise and allows them to be customized for each person.
Within these digital progressive lenses, we can find three ranges: Basic, Digital Free Form, and Personalized.
The main difference between the different ranges is the width of the visual fields and, consequently, the quality of vision.
At LUPER, all our opticians are specialists in progressive lenses, and based on our experience, we have decided to work only with the highest ranges of digital progressive lenses: Free Form progressive and Personalized progressive.
In addition, we must emphasize that all our progressive lenses include the SHMC treatment, a treatment composed of 6 layers that perform different functions:
1. Hardened treatment: This is a coating that makes it difficult for the lenses to deteriorate.
2. Anti-impact treatment: The lens is coated with a scratch-resistant film.
3. Anti-reflective treatment: This is a layer placed on the surface of the lens that prevents light from reflecting, which causes glare and bright reflections to be absorbed. This treatment is important because reflections perceived by the eye, in the long run, cause a decrease in visual acuity.
4. Antistatic treatment: Eliminates static electricity that occurs on any polished surface. By eliminating this electricity, we prevent dust and lint from clothing from adhering, which reduces the risk of eye irritation.
5. Grease-repellent treatment: This treatment, along with the antistatic one, helps keep lenses clean longer, avoiding annoying smudges.
6. Super-hydrophobic treatment: That is, water-repellent. A treatment that helps improve vision on rainy days or when playing sports.
In short, SHMC treatment is synonymous with savings, as your lenses will be more protected and will have a long life.
We await you at LUPER to advise you on everything you need, give you a no-obligation quote, and check your vision for free with our exclusive Personalized Visual Exam.
